Second annual Halloween Art Party, put on by ArtxSoulNJ. The art will be up for the month of October, but the opening on Saturday, October 7th will include music, and food/drinks for purchase. $5 cover.

Warrior Woman is a tribute to women as pillars of strength. Women must battle unique challenges specific to them and their gender on a regular basis. From battling social norms, mansplaining and general daily sexism, to balancing careers, motherhood, and keeping personal identities intact. Artists were asked to interpret both personal warrior stories , as well as iconic warriors of history and fiction, and what a Warrior Woman is to them.

Beware the Beasts Below!
Two of my works from my watercolor jellyfish series will be part of this *amazing* group show, put on by the Atlantic Highland's Arts Council. Beware the Beasts Below is a tribute show to sea creatures, both mythical and actual. The deep sea holds a mystery, darkness, danger, and beauty to it. We are seeking work that embodies those elements, while showcasing ancient sea mythologies and real-life deep sea discoveries in the modern age. From mermaids and sea serpents, to jellyfish, cephalopods, and sharks, Beware the Beasts Below.

Seen & Heard
Griffin's series Seen & Heard will be on display at the Sandy Bennett Art Gallery for the months of March and April. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. All artwork on exhibit is for sale and a portion of the proceeds go to support bergenPAC.

Collective Visions
Group Exhibition:
Collective Visions: MA Studio Thesis Exhibition will be on display at the James Howe Gallery on Kean Univeristy's campus from April 17th through May 15th. The artists participating in this show will be graduating with their Masters in Art Studio and work in a variety of materials including oil, acrylic and watercolor paint, pastel, printmaking, wood and the exhibit will also include an installation. The artists featured include Monica Franco, Janice Gossman, Kate Griffin, Michelle Harpster, Denise Moser, Janice Quarto and Michelle Suriel.
